I have also produced sugar snap peas for the export market through an out growers’ program. From the proceeds, I have managed to upgrade the infrastructure at the farm which includes installation of fencing, drip irrigation, and shade net greenhouses. I have also come up with the brand Natures Best Honey which has made inroads in the retail and hospitality sector.
Do adequate research and have a well-thought-out plan. Be tenacious. Do not give up. Doing something new is brave and there will be doubts but always remember why you started in the first place.
