Teez Delightz was born in 2018.. I'm a mom of 3 kids, a Chemistry and Physics teacher and a passionate farmer. We are growing over a 1000 of tomatoes, onions, beetroot, lettuce, rape and cucumber. We also have a green house.
Growing up I never imagined I'd venture into farming but I’ve always loved cooking, so one day with my better half, who is also my farming partner we thought, why not supply our own kitchen with farm produce? Then the next thing, why not be part of every kitchen? Since that day our motto has been, '' Teez Delightz happy to be part of every kitchen experience" Being a qualified person in different fields, we also thought to ourselves, what are we going to leave our children with? What skill set can we impart to our children? And so, this was the main driving force behind the projects.
We started off with just five lines of tomatoes but now we have over 1000 plants. We have also erected a greenhouse, drilled a borehole and installed drip lines and are farming on over half an acre as we speak. I’ve managed to employ two ladies and a gentleman to assist on the projects, but most of the work we do hands on, the fertigating and fumigation to mention but a few things.
If you want to yield don't send someone, do it yourself. You have to fall in love with your Crops, they are like your children. The sky is the limit and your goal should be to feed the nation.
